Mr Walton of Sedgefield is the 7th
generation of the farming family says:
“Cell grown stock is so easy to plant, I use a subsoiler, putting the tractor in
crawler box I can plant 200 metres of hedging in less than an hour. I still get 100% survival
rate and fantastic growth; some of my hedges are 2 metres high after just 2 years growth. Cell
grown is so good I would never use bare root again!”

Mr Hutchinson who has arable farms in south east Durham, says:
“Over the last three years we have had very good results using cell grown plants
from Butterwick Trees. We find them easy and quick to plant and a lot of new hedgeline is
created every day. The plants establish well with few losses and grow on strongly.”
